About the project
The main goal of the project was to create a favourable environment for the development of forestry as an innovative and job-creating business sector in the Mediterranean region while facing climate change. The project helped bridge the gap between research and innovation by improving the management, transfer, use and alignment of the knowledge resulting from ecological research and forest management, and by better aligning both the research and economic objectives to the societal needs.
